From card-making and creative writing, to family history and photography, Norfolk County Council's Cultural Services team is inviting people to try something new during national Adult Learners' Week (17-23 May).
More than 150 activities will be on offer across Norfolk, enabling people to experience the benefits of learning - proven to boost people's health, self-esteem and even their job prospects.
The programme - created by the County Council's Libraries, Museums & Archaeology, Records Office, Arts, Adult Education and Norfolk Guidance Services - includes a range of taster sessions, exhibitions, demonstrations, walks and talks, with some events suitable for the whole family.
Jennifer Holland, Interim Deputy Director of Cultural Services at Norfolk County Council, said: "Whether you are interested in researching your own family history, learning to dance the salsa or finding out how to recognise the wildlife around you, take part in Adult Learners' Week.
"With so many different courses and events on offer, it's a great chance to have a go -whether it be learning a new skill, learning for fun, or catching up on learning missed at school."
Now in its 17th year, Adult Learners' Week is a celebration of the energy and inspiration that adults bring to their learning. It is a national event, held annually in around 50 countries across the world celebrating the achievements of adult learners and inspiring others to have a go.
Brochures featuring all Adult Learners' Week events can be found at Norfolk County Council libraries, museums and adult education offices. Brochures can also be downloaded at www.norfolk.gov.uk/adultlearnersweek
