Buyer - Norwich, Norfolk - Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Buyer! Our client, based on the outskirts of Norwich seek an individual who is experienced in a purchasing function, working to modern purchasing practices. The ideal candidate will also hold a recognised and suited qualification in purchasing; CIPS Level 3 or above. This role will involve working as part of a team within the Purchasing Department, the Buyer is responsible for the day-to-day management of a group of designated supplier accounts. This role will include the evaluation and selection of new suppliers, general purchasing transactions, monitoring of purchase order progress, on-time order delivery, cost control, managing all aspects of supplier quality and the ongoing assessment of supplier risks. Must have strong verbal, written and presentation skills in English language along with good negotiating skills. Due to the nature of the role, a current driving licence is required.
