Role
My Client is a major player in the Construction Sector and are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to work on projects such as New Build, Refurbishments, Conversions and Fit-Outs.

The successful Design and Build Co-ordinator will assist on pre-construction activities and tender opportunities. On some projects, the role may extend to site based design coordination and you will be required to control and interrogate the activities of external design consultants.

As Design and Build Co-ordinator, your main responsibilities can include:
" Interrogation of enquiry documents,
" Manage the design process via external consultants
" Production of a contractors proposal document in liaison with other internal departments
" Ensure the consultant scope of services and fees are agreed

My client is looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and someone who can work well as part of a team as well as on their own initiative .

A construction / project manager background is required although a practical design background would be considered.
